Have you been laid off and are collecting Employment Insurance?

Do you have status with a First Nation or Metis?

Reach out to your local band office to see if there are funding options available for you. Funding may also be found through http://www.metisnation.org/

Were you an active member of the Canadian Armed Forces?

Canvet is for individuals who have been injured during their service, contact your local office http://www.cvvrs.com/
SISIP for individuals who completed their service, contact your local office https://www.sisip.com/en/

Are accommodations included in the cost of the program?

Accommodations are not included in the cost of the programs however, we have obtained some great nightly and monthly rates for our students, ask a representative for more information. Are your programs eligible for OSAP funding?

Due to the length of our programs, we do not qualify for OSAP funding. There are many other funding options available for specific situations and can be found listed in the questions above or by contacting NCA at 1-866-NCA-GRAD or 705-674-1444

Do you accept international students?

At this time Northern Construction Academy is not set up to host international students.

Is Northern Construction Academy an approved Training Provider for the Canada-Ontario Job Grant?

Effective March 16, 2023, Northern Construction Academy is an approved provider for the Canada-Ontario Job Grant. The COJG provides direct financial support to individual employers or employer consortia who wish to purchase training for their employees. It is available to small, medium and large businesses with a plan to deliver short-term training to existing and new employees.
